Rigid Charta’s protective packaging, marketed under the name of Chartapad, protects your products in various forms and styles. Being made entirely from corrugated paper it is easily recycled. In today’s environmentally sensitive world, Chartapad is made from post-consumer processed paper and as a protective packaging product can be recycled just like normal cardboard corrugated containers, avoiding being included in landfill disposal. It is made from material generated from the recycled paper process and once used simply returns into the cycle.
The range of Charta products include the bespoke corner systems, channels, corner-channels and end cushions, as well as rolls of single face corrugated – all to ensure perfect protection of bulky goods in transit. The range of products allows you to effectively do away with the need for polystyrene. Whether as edge protectors in the form of angle pads, supportive pads for heavy objects or mitred channels for corner protection, Chartapad is a versatile, protective packing product. Its simple construction avoids the need for complex tooling costs associated with other products.
Rigid Charta operates out of a 65,000 square foot factory, located in Aston, Birmingham, with easy access to all major motorways for speedy delivery of our goods to your factory. They convert over 20 million square metres of material per year on average and produce around 10 million single faced and Chartapad cushion packages, serving the sanitary ware, furniture, catering and general industrial market sectors.
